SM C&C Appoints Former SBS Entertainment Head Choi Young-in as New Entertainment Business Division Chief

SM C&C announced that it has appointed former SBS Entertainment Head Choi Young-in as the new head of its entertainment business division.

Choi has spent the past 36 years handling content planning, production, and organizational management at EBS and SBS.

At SBS, she served as the head of the entertainment division and later took charge of content production and business diversification as the head of Studio Prism's production business division.

Her major works include "Ya Shim Man Man," "Healing Camp," "Fantastic Duo," and "My Little Old Boy." She has received numerous awards, including the TV Entertainment category prize at the 37th Baeksang Arts Awards, the TV Entertainment category prize at the Korea Broadcasting Producer Award, the Entertainment/Variety TV category prize at the Korea Broadcasting Awards, and the Prime Minister's Commendation at the Korea Content Awards.

SM C&C expressed expectations, stating, "Based on her long-forged content production capabilities, Choi is expected to establish the identity of the SM C&C digital studio and strengthen business competitiveness by discovering differentiated original content and intellectual property (IP)."
