A fire broke out at a waste recycling facility plant in Sangni-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu, at around 1:00 AM today (August 3).
The fire authorities reported that the major blaze was brought under control after about three hours, with no casualties or evacuations.
Believing that the fire started from piled-up waste, firefighting authorities are currently working to extinguish remaining embers.
Once the fire is completely put out, the authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the scale of property damage.
