According to SBS reporting, President Lee Jae-myung, who has been on an 11-day trip across seven countries, plans to preside over a review meeting regarding the real estate and stock markets immediately upon his return to Korea tomorrow (the 3rd). This is interpreted as his intention to directly address countermeasures for the recently volatile stock market as well as upcoming revisions to real estate taxation.

President Lee Jae-myung, having concluded his visits to the United States and three South American countries, has arrived in Frankfurt, Germany, his final stop.
Following a meeting with local Korean residents, President Lee is set to depart for Korea and arrive tomorrow. SBS has confirmed through its reporting that he plans to preside over a review meeting on real estate policies and the stock market immediately upon his return.
It is understood that the review meeting will be attended by Prime Minister Han Sung-sook, cabinet members from related ministries such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Financial Services Commission, as well as presidential aides.
As the government's upcoming real estate tax revision is reportedly being prepared to increase the tax burden on ultra-high-end and non-residential housing, related discussions are expected to take place. A Cheong Wa Dae official explained, "We plan to cover real estate measures across the board."
In addition, countermeasures regarding the stock market situation, including the KOSPI which experienced unprecedented fluctuations last week, are expected to be major agenda items.
In particular, attention is focused on whether discussions will also be held regarding single-stock leverage ETFs, which have been cited as one of the causes of recent stock price volatility.
The conservative opposition party is stepping up its offensive, demanding a parliamentary investigation into the circumstances surrounding the introduction of leverage ETFs and the resignation of Cheong Wa Dae Chief Policy Officer Kim Yong-beom.
Against this backdrop, President Lee's decision to hold a meeting on domestic economic issues immediately upon his return is interpreted as a resolve to fill any void left by his 11-day overseas trip and focus intensely on domestic pending issues.
Starting the day after tomorrow, President Lee is also scheduled to receive work reports from 27 ministries, agencies, and committees, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Justice.
