At around 1:00 AM today, a passenger car driven by a man in his 20s, identified only by his surname A, plowed into a building near Wangsimni Station in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

According to police investigations, A's blood alcohol concentration was at a level warranting the revocation of his driver's license, indicating extreme intoxication.
[Building Owner / Victim: Two-thirds of the car was already inside [the building]. The police opened the door and pulled [the suspect] out by his arm, and he came out along with them….]
It was found that A had already crashed into another nearby building and was fleeing from police responding to a report of a suspected drunk driver when he caused the second accident.
One of the fence pillars has been completely uprooted.
A first caused an accident here, drove away for about 300 meters, and then crashed again.
Police have booked A on charges of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning passengers and others.
