The severe heat in the eastern regions is due to winds blowing from the West Sea toward the east.
Starting tomorrow, the wind direction will shift from east to west, making the heat more intense in the western regions.
Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, daytime highs in Seoul will skyrocket to a whopping 37°C.
Today, ultraviolet index levels will remain high to very high in various areas.
