Lee Sang-hyun, Head of Nagoya Asian Games Delegation, Donates 200 Million Won for National Athletes

Lee Sang-hyun, president of the Korea Cycling Federation who has been appointed as the head of the South Korean delegation for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Summer Asian Games, has generously donated 200 million won to wish for the stellar performance of the national athletes.

According to the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, Delegation Head Lee delivered the 200 million won encouragement fund yesterday during the "Cheer Up Stage," a morale-boosting event for national athletes held at the Jincheon National Training Center in North Chungcheong Province, exactly 50 days ahead of the Asian Games.

Attended by Korean Sport & Olympic Committee President Yoo Seung-min, Delegation Head Lee, Training Center Commandant Kim Taek-soo, and national athletes, the "Cheer Up Stage" featured supportive performances for the delegation and athlete-participatory programs.

In a segment where national athletes performed on stage in front of their peers, weightlifter Kim Soo-hyun took first place and received a smart TV as a prize.
