Song Kyo-chang (Osaka Evessa) and Choi Jun-yong (Busan KCC) have been excluded from the men's national basketball team due to injuries.
The Korea Basketball Association announced today (the 31st) that Song and Choi were dropped from the national squad after it was determined they would not be able to digest training normally.
The association added that it will continue training with a 14-player roster without making any additional selections.
The men's national team will depart for Japan on the 13th of next month to play friendly matches against the Japanese national team on the 15th and 16th.
Following that, they will face Lebanon and Saudi Arabia in the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
