As this extreme heat can even threaten the lives of healthy individuals, outdoor activities should be avoided as much as possible.

Tropical night advisories are also in effect across various parts of the country.
Tomorrow's lowest temperature is expected to be 27°C (81°F) in Gangneung, while daytime temperatures tomorrow are projected to spike up to 38°C (100°F) in Changwon.
Next week, the wind direction is forecast to shift to easterlies, which is expected to intensify the heat in Seoul even further.
