Today (30th), former Korea Football Association (KFA) President Chung Mong-gyu, former national football team head coach Hong Myung-bo, and other KFA officials attended a hearing held by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee of the National Assembly to answer questions from lawmakers.
In particular, when pressed by Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker Cho Gye-won regarding controversies surrounding the national team coach appointment process, former coach Hong Myung-bo maintained his stance that there was no problem, stating, "I am a person who received an offer and accepted it."
