Here is the weekly movie release news. The latest installment in the Spider-Man series, which enjoys immense popularity in South Korea, drew 680,000 viewers on its opening day yesterday (the 29th), recording the highest opening-day figure among all films released last year and this year.

The fourth film in Marvel's Spider-Man series, which has drawn nearly 23 million moviegoers in South Korea alone, has been released.
This is the first new installment in five years since Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ranks eighth in all-time worldwide box office gross.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day tells the story after everyone has forgotten Peter Parker's existence, depicting Spider-Man facing a crisis due to DNA mutation.
One of the central axes of the plot is how Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, and Zendaya, his partner both on screen and in real life, reunite in the film.
The spider action and visual effects remain exceptional.

Unusually for a Japanese independent film, What Should We Have Done? surpassed 10,000 advance ticket sales. True to its title, it is a documentary film capturing the director's family history close to regret.
When his affectionate and promising sister developed schizophrenia one day, the director's parents, who were doctors, chose not to take her to a psychiatric hospital and instead tried to cure her at home.
The director's camera, as a family member, calmly observes the 20-odd years that passed and the family's years which were too late to reverse even after receiving belated treatment.
When it was released in Japan, it started in four theaters and expanded to more than 100 theaters nationwide by the eighth week of its release.
