If successful, it will set a world-first record for humanity.

She is American long-distance swimmer Catherine Breed.
On July 1, she embarked on a challenge to swim approximately 1,448 kilometers along the California coast, starting from the Oregon border and heading all the way to the Mexican border.
She plans to swim up to 24 kilometers every day, and the complete journey is expected to take about four months.
The purpose of this challenge is not solely about setting a record.
Breed stated that through the non-profit organization she founded, she wants to raise awareness about the importance of marine environmental protection and encourage more people to participate.
