Actor Hwang Jung-min will proceed with the stage greeting for the movie "HOPE" as scheduled on the 29th, despite personal controversies.

On the afternoon of the 29th, Hwang Jung-min's agency, SEM Company, stated, "He will attend today's stage greeting for the movie 'HOPE' without any changes." Hwang Jung-min plans to hold stage greetings at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, Megabox COEX, and other locations alongside director Na Hong-jin, and actors Zo In-sung, Jung Hoyeon, and Um Moon-suk.

Previously, expository posts were sequentially uploaded to social media claiming Hwang's affair and releasing recorded files and conversation contents presumed to be shared with person A, raising controversy.

Regarding this, SEM Company explained, "The author of the malicious posts regarding Hwang Jung-min is a stalking crime suspect who has continuously harassed Hwang Jung-min. Hwang Jung-min has filed a criminal complaint against the author, and the court has issued three provisional measures, including restraining orders, against the suspect. Furthermore, acknowledging the stalking charges, the court issued a summary order of 3 million won in fines," while forecasting additional legal actions.

Separately, a damages lawsuit worth 200 million won filed by person A against Hwang Jung-min was referred to mediation in June by Civil Division 42 of the Seoul Central District Court. The two sides are scheduled to meet during a mediation session on August 14.
