"Flex X Cop 2" has raised anticipation by unveiling the unusual past between Ahn Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae.
Premiering on August 7 as the follow-up to "Agent Kim Reactivated", SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama "Flex X Cop 2" (written by Kim Ba-da, directed by Kim Jae-hong) is a delightful, refreshing, and exhilarating cider-like cooperative investigative drama. It follows Jin Yi-soo (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a chaebol detective who turns tables with his immense wealth when investigations stall, and the new team leader, Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae), who throws money into play.
Stills released on the 29th capture the two before they reunited at the Gangha Police Station Violent Crime Team 1, back when they first met as a trainee and temporary instructor at the police academy. Jin Yi-soo, who still retains his immature chaebol habits, spiritedly challenges Joo Hye-ra—an instructor and former counter-terrorism team ace—to a judo match, only to suffer the humiliation of being thrown to the floor.
Following this, Joo Hye-ra unleashes a "Jin Yi-soo customized" strict discipline ranging from physical training to shooting range corrections, showcasing girl-crush charisma. In contrast, Jin Yi-soo displays a shaken expression with trembling eyes, signaling the beginning of their bickering senior-junior chemistry.
After graduating from the police academy, Jin Yi-soo thought he had escaped the clutches of the demon instructor. However, as he is teamed up again with Joo Hye-ra, who has been appointed as the new team leader of Violent Crime Team 1, attention is focused on the high-end cider-like cooperative investigation the two will deliver.
