Popular creator Pengsoo appeared on a radio show to unveil a new song and made a bold promise for first place.
On the broadcast of SBS Power FM (107.7MHz) "WENDY's Young Street" on the 28th, Pengsoo appeared as a guest, revealing the behind-the-scenes story of the new song and performing its first live stage.
Pengsoo kicked off the show in a lively atmosphere by singing "Red Flavor" by Red Velvet on the spot with Host WENDY. Afterward, the full version of the new song was revealed for the first time, featuring Cho Won-sang of the band LUCY and choreography by dancer WAACKXXXY. Pengsoo showed deep affection for the track, saying, "When I first heard the song, it was so good that I thought, 'Why are they giving this song to me?'"
Stating that the goal for the new song is "for everyone to steal this song," Pengsoo picked YOUNHA as the artist who should cover it, sending a public love call by saying, "It would suit her so well. I really hope she covers it." Expectations were also raised when Pengsoo made a promise, saying, "If we get first place, I will do busking at the Han River."
When asked about rivals, Pengsoo pointed to LUCY, who participated in the new song work, and humorously remarked, "They say you shouldn't take in ungrateful creatures with black hair. I want to face off music to music," filling the studio with laughter.
Next, choosing ATEEZ's "BAD" as the concept to challenge, Pengsoo performed an impromptu choreography after saying, "It's sexier than I thought," and added, "I'm waiting for a call from Waterbomb," bringing about bursts of laughter.
Meanwhile, "WENDY's Young Street" can be heard every evening from 8 PM to 10 PM on SBS Power FM 107.7MHz, and can also be enjoyed as visible radio through the official YouTube channel.
