The Seoul Metropolitan Government will conduct a detailed inspection tonight on the southern connecting ramp of Seongsu Bridge, where a 9 cm level difference was discovered.
Starting at 9:00 PM tonight, Seoul city officials, joined by external experts in structural engineering and soil mechanics, plan to remove the asphalt concrete pavement to check the condition of the structure and ground bearing capacity.
The investigation targets the southern ramp entering Seongsu Bridge from the Jamsil direction of Olympic-daero.
To carry out this inspection, the city plans to completely close the ramp from 9:00 PM tonight to 6:00 AM tomorrow, while also partially restricting one of the four adjacent lanes on Olympic-daero.
