▲ Shin Ji-eun wins on the LPGA Tour
Shin Ji-eun, who lifted an LPGA Tour trophy for the first time in 10 years and 2 months, has made a significant leap in the Women's World Golf Rankings.
Shin climbed to 36th in the women's world rankings released today (July 28).
She jumped 62 spots from 98th last week.
Shin, who claimed her maiden LPGA Tour victory at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout in May 2016, secured her latest win 10 years and 2 months later at the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open.
Kim A-lim, who finished as the runner-up at the Women's Scottish Open, moved up eight spots from the previous week to 24th.
Nelly Korda of the United States maintained her hold on the No. 1 spot, followed by Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand at No. 2, and Yoo Hae-ran and Kim Hyo-joo at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.
