A power outage hit 667 households, including houses and villas, in the Seogyo-dong area of Mapo-gu, Seoul, at around 5:15 PM today (July 27), causing ongoing inconvenience for residents.
Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) launched restoration efforts after determining that the outage occurred when a ladder truck made contact with high-voltage lines.
A KEPCO official stated, "We expect power to be restored before 10 PM."
