President Lee engaged in a sales pitch, urging the heads of world-leading specialized venture capital firms managing hundreds of trillions of won in assets, such as Andreessen Horowitz and Khosla Ventures, to invest in South Korean startups and venture businesses.

Promising the expansion of investment infrastructure such as visa system improvements and pension fund support, President Lee said that by combining South Korea's technological prowess and manufacturing competitiveness with America's investment capabilities, they can create new opportunities for growth.

Venture investors in Silicon Valley praised South Korea's manufacturing and semiconductor industry capabilities, expressing high expectations.

An MOU for investment cooperation was also signed between the National Pension Service, which is the world's 4th largest pension fund as of last year, and Silicon Valley venture capital firms.
