A woman in her 20s has been apprehended by police after reporting herself that she would "kill an acquaintance" and attempting to track the person down.
The Seoul Seocho Police Station announced that it has booked the woman, in her 20s, referred to as A, on preliminary murder charges.
A is accused of calling the police herself at around 7:00 p.m. yesterday (July 25) to state that she would "kill an acquaintance," and then attempting to find the person while carrying a weapon.
Upon receiving the report, police tracked A using location information and apprehended her in Seocho-gu about an hour later.
It was confirmed that A was in possession of a weapon at the time of her arrest.
Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident while considering whether to apply for an arrest warrant for A.
