President Lee Jae-myung, currently on a tour of the United States and South America, stated ahead of his visit to Argentina, "I hope our two countries will walk hand-in-hand toward a new future of co-prosperity."
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) that day, President Lee tagged Argentine President Javier Milei and wrote, "South Korea and Argentina have many things to accomplish together."
President Lee's post also quoted a video clip in which President Milei mentioned the economic disparity between North and South Korea.
President Lee added, "Thank you for your interest in the Republic of Korea," and "I greatly look forward to our meeting."
President Lee, who is currently visiting San Francisco, USA, is scheduled to arrive in Argentina on the 30th via Brazil and Chile, where he will hold a summit and carry out other scheduled events with President Milei.
