Kiwoom Investment has officially declared its three major strategies for fostering innovative startups and the creation of an AI fund.
Kiwoom Investment held the 3rd Kiwoom Connecting Day today (July 24) at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, with some 100 attendees, including officials from AI and data startups, investment institutions, and major corporations.
At the event, companies forming the AI and data ecosystem—including Naver Cloud, AhnLab Cloud Mate, as well as startups like Graphy and SelectStar—shared technologies and cases accumulated from actual industrial fields.
Lee Yong-mook, the senior investment manager who prepared the event, stated, "We hope to strengthen the data and AI ecosystem and create new business opportunities through connection and cooperation among portfolio companies."
Kim Dae-hyun, CEO of Kiwoom Investment, said, "Taking the achievement of 1 trillion won in assets under management and the creation of an AI fund as momentum, we will support the full-cycle growth of domestic startups through the expansion of global networks, group company collaboration, and research and development linkage."
