A teenage male has been taken into custody for allegedly attacking a teenage female with a weapon in Seoul's Gangseo District.
According to Yonhap News coverage on the 23rd, the Seoul Gangseo Police Station is currently investigating and booking a teenage male, identified as A, on charges of attempted murder.
Suspect A was caught at the scene and arrested by police after allegedly wielding a weapon against a teenage female in a multi-family housing neighborhood in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo District, at 1:26 p.m. on the same day.
The victim, who sustained injuries to her abdomen, was transported to a hospital while remaining conscious.
Police are currently investigating the precise details of the incident, including the motive behind the crime.
