As U.S. airstrikes against Iran continue, President Trump has warned that the U.S. will also strike the so-called "Pickaxe Mountain," suspected to be a secret Iranian nuclear facility. In response, Iran has threatened to attack all U.S. assets in the Middle East if it does so.

Continuing its airstrikes against Iran for the 12th day, the U.S. Central Command released footage showing the destruction of military facilities and equipment.
In particular, this time, explosions were heard not only in the Strait of Hormuz but also near the capital, Tehran, and air defense systems were activated.
This effectively amounts to strikes across all of Iran.
President Trump threatened that the U.S. will soon launch a powerful strike on Iran's so-called Pickaxe Mountain, which is suspected to be an underground nuclear facility.
[Donald Trump / U.S. President: We will strike that facility. Anywhere Iran even thinks about nuclear weapons, we will hit very, very hard.]
Named Pickaxe Mountain because its shape resembles a pickaxe, this area is located about 2 kilometers away from the Natanz nuclear facility in central Iran.
Recent satellite imagery shows tunnels that appear to be entrances. The United States and the International Atomic Energy Agency suspect this to be Iran's secret underground nuclear facility, specifically a centrifuge manufacturing plant.
Iran hit back, warning that if the U.S. attacks its nuclear facilities, it will strike all U.S. assets and allies' assets in the Middle East.
Iran also claimed that it attacked a U.S. military base in Jordan, destroying numerous drones including eight new MQ-9 drones, and asserted that U.S. casualties occurred in the process.
The Iranian government stated that 53 people have been killed in 12 days of U.S. airstrikes. Concerns over a wider escalation are growing further as President Trump warned that if Iran attacks ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. will bomb Iranian bridges and power plants.
