Actor Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung's Disney+ original series "Made in Korea Season 2" has confirmed its release for September, unveiling a teaser poster and pre-teaser trailer.
"Made in Korea Season 2" is a noir drama depicting the precarious journey of "Baek Ki-tae," who runs wild toward even greater desires nine years later. Having earlier made it onto TIME magazine's list of the "Most Anticipated Korean Dramas of 2026," "Made in Korea Season 2" is raising anticipation to its peak even before its release.
The newly released teaser poster immediately captures attention by portraying the untouchable aura of "Baek Ki-tae" (Hyun Bin). Set against a spacious, heavy-aired office, Baek Ki-tae is seated leisurely, yet his demeanor hints at a different, somehow hollow inner self despite seemingly achieving everything at the end of Season 1, drawing even more curiosity.
In particular, the nameplate clearly reading "Director Baek Ki-tae" and the intense copy, "Remember, we are doing this for patriotism, patriotism," add intrigue to Baek Ki-tae's dangerous path as he races unstoppably toward his desires under the banner of patriotism, continuing from Season 1.
The accompanying pre-teaser trailer previews an unpredictable narrative by depicting Baek Ki-tae's intensified ambition, the cracks surrounding him, and the emergence of new forces.
The bold image of Baek Ki-tae sitting in front of the presidential office desk with a sharp gaze, accompanied by the line, "I've waited for this moment for a very long time," delivers intense immersion right from the start. This is followed by the significant line, "Sometimes a single choice changes the course of history," unfolding suspenseful scenes that announce the prelude to a massive incident shaking South Korea.
Breathtaking action sequences intertwine to heighten the tension. In particular, the sight of "Baek Ki-hyun" (Woo Do-hwan) standing in fierce opposition to Baek Ki-tae raises curiosity about how their relationship will change, while the emergence of a military faction opposing Baek Ki-tae's Central Intelligence Agency anticipates the dawn of a new power struggle. Finally, the scene where "Jang Gun-young" (Jung Woo-sung), who was defeated by Baek Ki-tae in Season 1, reappears, leaving Baek Ki-tae unable to hide his shock, amplifies expectations by foreshadowing an unpredictable bloodbath about to hit them.
"Made in Korea Season 2" is directed once again by Woo Min-ho, who helmed Season 1, and features Korea's representative actors including Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, Woo Do-hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Won Ji-an, Jung Sung-il, and Noh Jae-won, who are set to showcase their acting synergy once again.
