At 12:40 p.m. today (July 21), a K3 sedan driven by a woman in her 50s, identified as A, struck two pedestrians in their 30s in an alleyway in Changgok-dong, Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the police, A's vehicle hit five parked cars along the side of the road while driving through the alley before striking the pedestrians who were walking ahead.
The two pedestrians were transported to a hospital while conscious, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A told the police that the brakes did not function properly.
The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
