In the second inning, he pulled a high inside fastball for a clean base hit. He followed that up in the fourth inning by driving a sinker for a bullet-like hit, completing a multi-hit game in just two plate appearances.
Lee reached base again after being hit by a pitch and later scored a key run during Adames' grand slam.
In the ninth inning, after a 10-pitch battle, Lee hit a single to center field to complete his first 3-hit game in 39 days. With this performance, he raised his season batting average to .307, moving up to fourth place in the National League.
