As of yesterday afternoon, the reservation rate also exceeded 63%, suggesting that it is likely to maintain the top spot at the box office throughout this holiday period.
Director Na Hong-jin met with directors Lee Chang-dong and Bong Joon-ho on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, to discuss the film.
Director Lee Chang-dong praised 'Hope,' stating that it seems to be at the pinnacle of entertainment films and is, quite literally, a "crazy film."
Director Bong Joon-ho called it an "incredibly surprising cinematic adventure" and added, "As a fellow filmmaker, I am grateful that it shows such a spectacle of cinema."
