However, as monsoon rain is expected to gradually expand, heat wave warnings have been lifted for all regions except Jeju Island.
Currently, sporadic rain is falling in parts of South Chungcheong Province, the Honam region, and the western inland areas of South Gyeongsang Province. By tonight, the rain will spread to the rest of the Chungcheong and southern regions.
Through tomorrow, July 17, which is Constitution Day, these areas are expected to receive 20 to 80mm of rain, with the Honam region seeing up to 100mm or more.
The day after tomorrow, Saturday, the monsoon rain will expand across the entire country.
Once again, heavy rain will be concentrated in the central region.
With 30 to 150mm or more of concentrated heavy rain expected in the South Chungcheong region, please take care to inspect your facilities.
