At approximately 9:20 a.m. today, three workers in their 50s fell from the third floor of a three-story commercial building in Maetan-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, while performing remodeling work.
Two of the workers sustained serious injuries, including fractures, while one suffered minor injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
All three victims were conscious when transported, and it is reported that their lives are not currently in danger.
The accident occurred when the three workers were standing together on a brick railing installed on the third-floor unit to replace window frames, and the railing suddenly collapsed.
They were identified as employees of a remodeling company. The police stated that they plan to conduct a thorough investigation into whether safety regulations were followed.
