Heavy rain that poured down last night, July 14, caused a series of damages, primarily in the Seoul metropolitan area. Power supplies were cut off in various apartment complexes and residential areas, and the water level at Pilseung Bridge on the Imjin River exceeded the threshold for evacuating visitors near the river.

A tree, unable to withstand the wind and rain, has fallen and is now in contact with power lines.
Around 11:00 p.m. last night, electricity was cut off for approximately 970 households in the Bongcheon-dong area of Seoul.
Following emergency restoration efforts, power was restored to about 800 households, but around 170 households endured power outages throughout the night.
Around 10:00 p.m., power outages also occurred affecting about 150 households in Sinjeong-dong, Seoul, and approximately 950 households in Geomo-dong, Siheung, Gyeonggi Province.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) stated that in the case of Geomo-dong, Siheung, the outage was caused by an external object coming into contact with a utility pole due to heavy rain and strong winds, and that restoration was completed in about two hours. The power outage in Sinjeong-dong was resolved in about 50 minutes after repairing a circuit breaker that had malfunctioned due to the heavy rain.
In addition, power was temporarily cut off and subsequently restored for about 90 households in a residential area in Gaepo-dong, Seoul, and in the vicinity of Eulwangni Beach in Incheon.
In Woncheon-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, the outer wall of a three-story multi-unit house collapsed around 7:15 a.m. today, July 15, striking two parked vehicles.
There were no casualties, but police evacuated residents due to the possibility of further collapse.
As the water level of the Imjin River rose due to the rain that fell overnight, the water level at Pilseung Bridge, located at the southern limit line of the Demilitarized Zone, exceeded the 1-meter threshold for evacuating visitors near the river at 7:50 a.m. today.
The flood advisory for Neobudae Bridge on the Mokgam Stream in Seoul, which had been in effect, was lifted as of 1:00 a.m. today as water levels gradually receded.
