On the last weekend of July, a city-style vacation festival will be held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), featuring jazz and classical performances along with food and drinks.

The Seoul Design Foundation announced that it will host the 'DDP Vacance: DDP Music Festival' at the DDP Eoulim Plaza from July 31 to August 2.

The festival will operate daily from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., featuring live stages, rest zones, and market zones.

The live performances, which begin at 9 p.m., will be themed 'Jazz Night' on the first day, 'Classical Night' on the second day, and 'Folk Night' on the final day. Visitors can enjoy the performances against the backdrop of DDP's night scenery until 11 p.m.

The venue will be equipped with approximately 500 Helinox camping chairs, which were previously installed at the Louvre Museum pyramid plaza in France, as well as a beanbag lounge.

Some of the rest areas will be available through advance reservations and on a first-come, first-served basis on-site.

The market zone will offer products including beer sold exclusively at DDP, distilled spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and pairing pies.

Twenty teams of small business owners will also sell a variety of food items, such as ice cream, pesto, and snacks.

The event will also feature a beach-themed photo zone, photo booths, prize draws, and social media verification events.

Promotions linked with nearby commercial districts, such as Hyundai City Outlet and Doota Mall, are also planned.

The festival will be accessible through advance reservations on Naver and on-site participation. Those who book in advance will receive a 'vacance package' consisting of drinks, snacks, and souvenirs.

Performance schedules and reservation methods can be found on the DDP website and official social media channels.

The Seoul Design Foundation stated, "We will expand the DDP Vacance into a city-style nighttime cultural festival where people can stay and enjoy themselves until late at night by utilizing DDP's unique space and design content."
