Actor Kim Soo-hyun has embarked on his first official activities in about one year and four months, starting with a photoshoot for a Philippine fashion brand.
On July 14, an official from the Philippine clothing brand BENCH shared a photo taken with Kim Soo-hyun on social media, writing, "Reunited with the BENCH family." In the released photo, Kim Soo-hyun is standing alongside brand officials while holding a bouquet of flowers in his arms.
Although Kim Soo-hyun appeared somewhat thin in the photo, he showed a bright atmosphere, smiling warmly at the camera. Balloons and decorations featuring his English initials, "SH," were also set up at the filming site. This appears to have been prepared by the brand to welcome Kim Soo-hyun back to commercial shoots after a long time.
This shoot marks Kim Soo-hyun's first official entertainment schedule since virtually halting his activities in March last year. Previously, Kim Soo-hyun suspended all advertising and acting projects due to allegations raised by the YouTube channel Hover Lab regarding the late Kim Sae-ron. In particular, the release of the Disney+ original series "Knock-Off" has been indefinitely postponed for over a year.
Attention is focused on whether Kim Soo-hyun will gradually expand his domestic and international activities starting with this schedule, and whether it will lead to his return to acting projects.
