Car Crashes Into Bus, Mounts Sidewalk in Seongnam; 1 Pedestrian Killed

At approximately 6:50 a.m. today (July 14), a passenger car driven by a woman in her 50s collided with a village bus and mounted a sidewalk near Jeongja Station on the Suin-Bundang Line in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

A man in his 30s who was walking on the sidewalk was struck by the vehicle and transported to a hospital in cardiac arrest, but he later died. The driver of the passenger car and a teenage passenger were also taken to a hospital for treatment.

The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
