U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he will "hit Iran hard tonight and tomorrow," following the resumption of hostilities during a ceasefire.
President Trump made the remarks while appearing on the conservative radio program "The Hugh Hewitt Show" on July 13 (local time), asserting, "There is nothing they can do about it. They have nothing. All they can do is talk big."
Regarding the memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iran, which is now considered to be on the verge of collapse due to the resumed fighting, President Trump described it as something "created to test" Iran.
President Trump pointed out that the MOU does not hold "much significance" as it was a preliminary step before reaching a "final agreement" for ending the war, adding, "It was a sort of test. They didn't pass the test. They didn't respect the test."
