Police have launched an investigation following a stabbing incident in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
The Seoul Seongdong Police Station announced today (July 13) that they have apprehended a man in his 50s, identified as A, and are investigating him on charges including attempted murder and special obstruction of official duties.
A is accused of brandishing a weapon at a man in his 40s near Seoul Forest at approximately 6:40 p.m. today.
A was arrested in the act after resisting police officers who arrived at the scene following a report.
It has been determined that the victim sustained an injury to the neck and received emergency treatment at a hospital.
Police believe the crime occurred following a dispute over parking and plan to request an arrest warrant for A.
