Man in His 60s Arrested for Attacking Neighbor with Weapon on Stairwell

A man has been apprehended by police for attacking his neighbor with a weapon.

The Incheon Seobu Police Station announced today (July 13) that they have arrested a man in his 60s, identified as A, on charges of attempted murder and are currently investigating the case.

A is accused of stabbing a neighbor in his 50s, identified as B, with a weapon at a villa in Seo-gu, Incheon, at approximately 11:30 a.m. yesterday (July 12) as B was walking down the stairs from an upper floor.

B sustained an injury to his back and was transported to a hospital, but it was determined that his life is not in danger.

According to the police investigation, it was found that A had previously complained to B about noise issues when B moved into the villa recently.

The police stated, "We are investigating the specific circumstances of the crime," adding, "We are considering requesting an arrest warrant for A."
