The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced today (July 12) that it will host an 'Idea Consulting Day' starting tomorrow (July 13) across 17 cities and provinces nationwide for participants of the 'Everyone's Startup Project,' as well as prospective entrepreneurs and startup companies.
This event was organized to help prospective entrepreneurs and startups refine their ideas and support the protection of their rights.
The core of the program is to provide one-on-one tailored consultations with intellectual property experts, helping startups resolve legal and technical difficulties that arise during the process of commercializing their ideas.
Approximately 120 experts, including lawyers from the Startup One-Stop Support Center, the Integrated Technology Protection Support Team for SMEs, the Legal Support Group, and the Trade Secret Protection Center of the Korea Intellectual Property Protection Agency, will provide assistance in areas such as trade secret protection, patents and trademarks, technology protection, and legal advice.
In addition, the event will offer expert consultations on business management, tax, and accounting, which are necessary throughout the startup process. For those requiring further assistance, the program will connect them to professional counseling through the Startup One-Stop Support Center.
Mok Seung-hwan, Head of the Startup and Venture Innovation Office at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, stated, "We will spare no effort in supporting startups so they can innovate with peace of mind by utilizing our nationwide startup one-stop support system and network of intellectual property experts."
Detailed schedules can be found on the startup support portal.
