Landslides triggered by Typhoon Bavi have left over a dozen casualties on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao.
According to local media, landslides caused by heavy rainfall struck homes in Mindanao early yesterday morning (July 10), resulting in at least 15 deaths and leaving 6 people missing.
The Philippine National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that Typhoon Bavi has affected approximately 49,000 people so far, with about 3,400 of them currently staying in evacuation shelters.
