A trailer carrying a container overturned while making a left turn at the Songdo 5th Bridge intersection in Gojan-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, at 3:23 p.m. yesterday (July 9).
The impact of the accident damaged two vehicles parked on the shoulder of the three-lane road—a 1-ton truck and a car carrier—but there were no casualties.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident involving the trailer driver, identified as a person in their 70s surnamed A.
In the police investigation, A stated that the vehicle overturned despite driving slowly.
A police official stated, "It has been determined that the trailer overturned while making a left turn from Incheon New Port toward Yonghyeon-dong," adding, "A was not under the influence of alcohol or driving without a license at the time."
