Slithering into the Engine: Snake Spotted in Underground Parking Lot

[Anchor] Recently, there have been a series of reports about snake sightings. Is it true that a snake even entered a car's engine room this time?

[Reporter] Yes, this incident occurred in the third basement level of an apartment parking lot a short while ago.

The video clearly shows the snake poking its head out from under a vehicle before slithering directly into the engine compartment.

Fire authorities were dispatched following the report and conducted a search, but the snake was ultimately not found.

This is not the first time a snake has been discovered in an urban area.

Previously, on July 1, a snake over 1 meter long was found inside a blanket in the living room of an apartment in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province.

Possibilities were raised that the snake, which had been kept as a pet in another household, may have entered through a toilet or drainage pipe.

Experts advised that as temperatures rise and snake activity increases, if you encounter a snake, you should not attempt to capture it yourself. Instead, maintain a safe distance and report it to 119 or the relevant authorities.
