A single silver ball sits alone in the middle of the beach.
While it may look like a toy at first glance, this unidentified object led to the beach being temporarily closed off.
Six silver spheres, each several dozen centimeters in diameter, were discovered one after another on Forrest Beach in Queensland, Australia.
Authorities initially cordoned off a 50-meter radius, suspecting the spheres could be rocket propellant tanks and preparing for the possibility of hazardous materials remaining inside.
After collecting and analyzing the spheres, it was determined that they are highly likely to be pressure vessels from the body of a foreign rocket that recently re-entered Earth's atmosphere.
