The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Film Council will begin distributing 2.05 million discount vouchers, each worth 6,000 won, starting at 10:00 a.m. today.
You can receive up to two vouchers per person through the websites or apps of the four major multiplex chains: CGV, Lotte Cinema, Megabox, and Cine Q.
The vouchers are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please keep in mind that the discount offer will end once the allocated supply is exhausted.
If you combine this with the discounts available on Culture Day, which falls on the last Wednesday of the month, you can watch a movie for as little as 4,000 won.
