SBS and the Korea Local Tax Institute signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) this morning (July 7) at the SBS Broadcasting Center in Seoul to promote and establish the Hometown Love Donation system.
Through this agreement, SBS President Bang Moon-shin and Korea Local Tax Institute President Shin Seung-keun agreed to cooperate in overcoming the crisis of regional extinction and revitalizing local economies, pledging to jointly pursue necessary projects and campaigns.
Accordingly, SBS plans to hold academic seminars with the Korea Local Tax Institute to share best practices for hometown love donations. The Korean Association of Certified Public Tax Attorneys will also participate in conducting promotional activities to encourage public participation in the donation system.
