4-Vehicle Collision on Sangju-Yeongcheon Expressway Leaves 2 Injured

A four-vehicle pileup occurred near the Dogae Interchange on the Sangju-Yeongcheon Expressway at approximately 9:50 p.m. on July 6.

The accident began when a passenger car rear-ended a 4.5-ton truck, leading to a chain reaction as another passenger car and a 1-ton truck following behind collided with the vehicles.

As a result of the crash, the drivers of the trailing passenger car and the truck sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Police stated that they do not believe the accident was caused by drunk or drowsy driving and are currently investigating the exact cause of the collision.
