Man in His 50s Arrested for Threatening Girlfriend While Dousing Himself with Engine Cleaner

A man has been apprehended by police after threatening his girlfriend while dousing himself with a flammable substance.

The man, in his 50s, identified as A, is accused of pouring engine cleaner over his body and threatening to set himself on fire during an argument with his girlfriend at a multi-unit dwelling in Segyo-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, at approximately 7:30 p.m. yesterday (July 5).

The police plan to request an arrest warrant for A on charges of special intimidation.
