A three-car collision occurred around 6:00 p.m. today (July 3) on the Busan Outer Ring Expressway near the Daegam Interchange in Daegam-ri, Daedong-myeon, Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, in the direction of Gijang.
The accident resulted in minor injuries to four members of a family, including two adults—one of whom is a person in their 20s identified as A—and a 9-year-old boy, who were in the rearmost vehicle. They were transported to a hospital.
Additionally, one of the three lanes was temporarily closed, causing traffic congestion for about 30 minutes over a 2-kilometer stretch near the accident site.
Police believe the accident occurred when the second vehicle attempted to cut into the first lane and are investigating the exact circumstances.
