To save South Korean football from its current crisis, the government is launching the K-Football Innovation Committee.
Legendary player Park Ji-sung will serve as co-chair, with Lee Young-pyo and Park Zu Ho joining the effort.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that the K-Football Innovation Committee, co-chaired by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Choi Hwi-young and FIFA committee member Park Ji-sung, will officially launch on July 6.
Football figures including Lee Young-pyo and Park Zu Ho, along with Korean Sport & Olympic Committee President Yoo Seung-min and other sports officials and experts, will participate to discuss key tasks for enhancing the future competitiveness of South Korean football.
