Moon Jeong-min has taken the sole lead after the second round of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour Lotte Open.
In the second round held today at Bear's Best Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon, Moon shot a 4-under-par, recording five birdies and one bogey.
With an intermediate total of 10-under-par, Moon sits at the top of the leaderboard, one stroke ahead of Lee Se-hee, Kim Hyo-joo, and Park Ye-ji, who are tied for second place.
Moon, who debuted on the regular tour in 2022 and secured her first career victory at the Daebo HouseD Open in September 2024, is now aiming for her second career win.
World No. 3 Kim Hyo-joo, competing in a domestic tournament for the first time in two months, shaved three strokes off her score to reach 9-under-par overall, joining Lee Se-hee and Park Ye-ji in a tie for second place, one stroke behind the leader.
Kim, who has achieved two wins on the LPGA Tour this season for a total of nine career victories, also won the KLPGA Tour's NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship in May.
Hwang Yu-min, competing in a domestic tournament for the first time since her LPGA Tour debut this year, reduced her score by one stroke to sit in sole 9th place at 7-under-par overall.
Hwang, who has three career KLPGA Tour wins, earned her LPGA Tour card by winning the LPGA Tour Lotte Championship held in Hawaii in October last year, and officially debuted on the U.S. stage as a rookie this year.
Hwang is currently leading the LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year points race.
Kim Min-sol, who became the first player to reach three wins this season after her victory at the McCol-Mona Yongpyong Open last week and is currently leading the prize money and grand prize points rankings, recorded a total of 4-under-par to tie for 22nd place.
The tournament, which features a total purse of 1.2 billion won and a winner's prize of 216 million won, will continue through this Sunday, July 5.
