Car Crashes Into Restaurant Near Nonhyeon Station in Seoul; 5 Injured

A vehicle crashed into a commercial building near Nonhyeon Station in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, today (July 3).

According to police and fire authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. when a passenger car reversed into the building.

The crash left a woman in her 30s, who was inside a restaurant on the first floor of the building, with a serious injury, including a broken leg, and she was transported to a nearby hospital.

Four other people who were in the restaurant also sustained minor injuries and were transported to hospitals.

The police believe the accident was caused by a parking attendant in his 50s while he was moving a customer's vehicle. Authorities plan to investigate the exact circumstances once the scene is cleared.
