Actor Mun Kayoung has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio, the agency home to stars including Cha Eun-woo and Kim Seonho.
On July 3, the entertainment agency Fantagio announced the news of the exclusive contract, stating, "We have joined hands with actor Mun Kayoung."
Since her debut in the 2006 film To Sir, With Love, Mun Kayoung has expanded her acting spectrum through various works such as the dramas True Beauty, The Interest of Love, Delightfully Deceitful, The Black Dragon, and Seocho-dong.
She received acclaim for her delicate portrayal of love, breakup, and youth in the film If We, which was released in December of last year, and achieved the feat of winning the Best Actress award in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards. She has also been confirmed to star as the lead character Heo Soo-ah in the tvN drama Whale Star, which is scheduled to air in 2027.
Fantagio, which signed the exclusive contract with Mun Kayoung, is a management agency that houses artists including Cha Eun-woo, Kim Seonho, Baek Yoon-sik, Lee Sungkyoung, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Seyoung, ASTRO, Lee Chang-sub, and LUN8.
